Sounds of STL Moves Online – 590AM No Longer in the Mix
Hey everyone, Tony Patrico here. I’ve got some important news about Sounds of STL that I want to get out there straight.
Many of you have tuned in to 590AM to catch the latest episodes, interviews, and deep dives into St. Louis music. That chapter has come to an end.
Why? LouInfo.com....the platform that hosted us on 590AM...is no longer around. It’s a bummer, for sure, because it was a great spot for connecting with the local music scene and for our listeners to find us on the radio dial.
But here’s the thing: Sounds of STL isn’t going anywhere. Far from it. We’re evolving, adapting, and keeping pace with how people consume content today. The podcast will continue online, streaming wherever you listen to your podcasts....Spotify, Apple, Google, you name it. And for those who prefer the visual experience, our website will remain a hub for everything STL music-related, constantly updating with new episodes, exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and more.
Change is never easy, and I know a lot of folks didn't even tune in on the radio. But here’s the upside: going fully digital means more flexibility, more ways to interact, and more control over how we bring you the sounds and stories of our city.
The STL music scene is alive, thriving, and I’m not about to let the loss of a radio slot slow it down.
So, here’s the plan: keep checking the Sounds of STL website, follow the podcast wherever you stream, and stay plugged into social media for updates. We’ll continue highlighting local artists, new tracks, and the stories that make St. Louis music what it is.
Thanks to every listener, past and present, for rolling with the changes. LouInfo may be gone, but our mission is the same....to celebrate the music and the people who make this city sound like St. Louis.
Stay tuned, stay streaming, and let’s keep the STL music scene alive together.
